Happy Birthday! Today you are 1 year old. This year has gone by so fast. You have grown and changed so much over the past 12 months. You are 19 lbs and 28 inches long. You have a ton of hair - which I've started putting up in cute little ponytails and pigtails. Sometimes you actually leave them in. You have 6 teeth and a few more ready to come in soon.
You are army crawling all over the place. Your arms look like you are swimming and you push off with your little toes. This may be the only crawl we get out of you, which is fine. You are starting to pull yourself up in your crib but when we try to get you to stand you just pull your feet up and won't stand on your feet! You will stand on my lap sometimes. You are such a mama's girl but usually when you get warmed up to people you'll go to them. Usually.
You love to clap and you've learned to wave. You love playing with your toys and you love to eat. You love to play with any kind of bottles - water bottles, lotion bottles, whatever. You love your brothers and they can always make you laugh.
You had a great birthday. We had your party at Grandma and Grandpa Funk's house. Both sets of Grandparents and all your aunts, uncles and cousins were there as well as Scott, Brittany and Ali Rudd. You loved the pizza that Daddy fed you for dinner.
You weren't that excited to open presents - you'd rather just play with the wrapping paper! You got a bunch of clothes, including several pairs of pajamas, Gerber puffs, a cell phone, bead rollercoaster, a tea set, and some hair bows.
Then it was time for the cake! We got cupcakes with flowers and a crown and scepter and a little smash cake for you. You dipped your fingers in the frosting and stuck them in your mouth and that's all it took! You were totally into eating that cake! You had fistfuls of frosting and more frosting all over your tummy by the time you were done but you had a great time.
You are sweet and fun and so adorable. I love having another girl in the house to do girly things with. We love you so much and can't wait for many more years with you.
