I decided to poke my mom's water at 2:00 am Wednesday morning. Mom tried waking dad up to tell him it was time to go, but he kept sleeping thinking it was a dream.
At 3:00 am we arrived at the hospital, but I wasn't ready to come out for 21 more hours. Mom was hooked up to some equipment to monitor my heart beat and her contractions.
After 8 hours of contractions mom had had enough. Drugs are good. She's one dura mater (tough mother).
I decided it was about time to come out. I wanted to wait until the 31st of August so I could share my birthday with two of my great-grandmas.
