Today you are 8 months! You are growing so fast. Your hair is getting longer and your eyes are a really dark blue so it looks like they're going to stay that way. You are starting to roll around and sit pretty well by yourself. Every so often you still just topple over but you're getting there.
You are so so good. People are constantly commenting on what a sweet-natured baby you are! You are content to just look around or play with your little toys. You eat when I feed you and don't seem to worry too much about it if I'm a little late in getting you a bottle. You were super duper good on the trip to and from New Mexico. You were basically in your carseat for 9-10 hours straight, with an occasional diaper change or feeding and you didn't fuss a bit!
You're starting to eat more and more baby food and really like baby puffs. Sometimes you can even get them in your mouth yourself. And you always smile really big when I'm feeding you because you love everything you've tried. I should probably start incorporating more table food - maybe this next month.
You had a great time in New Mexico with Grandma and Grandpa Watts. You got held a lot, and you spent some time sitting in the laundry basket which you actually liked!
You celebrated your first Easter - not that it made much difference to you. You got some new clothes and a cute little Easter dress. You were kind of cranky by the Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Funk's but you still looked adorable! We love you so much.
