We are all just getting over the stomach flu which is why I'm a little late in getting this post done. First, Alex got sick. I tried to keep you away from him but you love to be with him so much that a couple days later you started throwing up. And then mommy and daddy got a little sick. It was not fun for any of us. You bounced back really quickly though.
You seem so much older now that you are 4. This month you started preschool! You are going to Lancer Preschool at Granger High and your cousin, Bailey, goes with you. So far you seem to really like it. It's only a couple hours a day, 2-3 days a week but that's enough for now. You like all the high school student helpers and you were so excited the first day you didn't even notice when daddy and I left after dropping you off. I'm grateful that you don't have a problem with new situations.
This month we went to the Utah State Fair. We met up with the Van Valkenburgh's and had a good time checking out the fair with them. You loved riding the rides and seeing the animals. There were these really funny looking birds that had tails that kind of looked like fans. You and Bailey thought that was hysterical and laughed so loud! You also liked the sea lion show but I think you liked all the dancing you got to do before their show began. And you liked the pig races too. You always love going to the fair.
That's about all this month. You are having a good time playing with all your birthday presents and getting into the swing of things for school. Oh! You were also in your very first primary program at church. You did a great job on your part and you knew nearly all the songs. Not bad for a sunbeam! We look forward to more and more accomplishments and fun times with you.

He's getting so grown up. Funny how that happens when we aren't looking or expecting it. Like the haircut too! :D
