Today you turn 11 months! You are one month away from your very first birthday. The time is just flying by. You have been Mr Cranky Pants lately. Part of that is probably due to the fact that you had the stomach flu this past month. It hit you the hardest of any of us. I put you on clear liquids for 24 hours but when I gave you your bottle again you threw it up again. So we tried clear liquids again and same thing happened. Fortunately you were mostly throwing up in your crib which is the easiest place to clean up. I finally put you on clear liquids for 2 days and you weren't happy about that - I think you were so hungry - but it finally cleared up your tummy bug. Not a pleasant time in our household. I hate it when you are sick because you are so so little and there's not a whole lot I can do to help.
You are growing a lot - especially your hair! You get mistaken for a girl on a regular basis - even dressed all in blue. It's just because you are such a beautiful baby. But it will be nice to get your hair cut in a month! Aunt Rachel actually put your hair up in a ponytail. You definitely have more hair than I did at that age.
You're still not walking but I'm totally ok with that. You can stand by yourself but it's really funny when you're using the gobble n' go hippo to walk because you don't bend your knees and you walk on your tiptoes. You'll figure it out. Even without being able to walk you still get into everything. You love pulling drawers out in the kitchen and scattering things all over the floor.
This past week you and Jarom stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Funk's while mommy and daddy went to Hawaii. We missed you guys so much but you had a great time with grandma and grandpa and they loved having you both. And you play really well with Jarom. You two are constantly playing and giggling! It was fun to have a vacation but it's nice to be back with you and Jarom. Daddy and I took you two to Chuck E Cheese when we got home and you love it there. It's nice they have rides that you can ride and you even helped me with the bowling. Balls are your favorite toy.
We love watching you grow and we love your sweet smiles.
Love, Mommy
