I can't believe how grown up you have become in the last few months. You are doing so well at potty training. You haven't worn a diaper or pull-up for nearly the whole month. Even at night you've been wearing underwear and doing a great job! And you've only had a couple of accidents and usually tell us when you need to go potty - especially if we're out and about. You definitely don't have a fear of public toilets and seem to need to try them ALL out. But you don't like the air hand dryers!
You have become very interested in color lately. You want to know what one color mixed with another color will make. We've done some paint mixing and you try to mix colors using crayons or chalk but without the same effects. You love playing outside with sidewalk chalk! We made a couple hopscotches in our driveway and you love playing hopscotch and are actually pretty good at it!
We have started spending a lot of time outside now that the weather has really warmed up. We go for walks around the neighborhood and you like to run through everybody's sprinklers! We go to the library for storytime and lunch on the lawn. We even went to the library to see llamas the other day with your cousins, Lindzie and Bailey. And of course, we go to the park! That is your favorite place to be when the weather is warm. If we don't get outside every day you go a little stir crazy!
You still like to play inside too. You love to play with your blocks especially. And you've started getting High 5 - Highlights magazine for younger kids and the Puzzle Buzz magazine that goes with it. You love solving the different puzzles in those books and you're really good at it too! Especially spotting the hidden items on a page. And you've become really interested in music. You have learned quite a few of the Primary songs - pretty much on your own - and even a few songs on the radio! But you had to initiate it or you didn't want anything to do with learning those things. Which is pretty much how you are with everything so I just mention things and wait for you to take an interest.
You are such a funny kid and so fun to have around! You are so good with Alex too and he loves his big brother! And we love you too.
