You turned 33 months a couple days ago but we were in New Mexico visiting Grandma and Grandpa Watts and Uncle Josh at the time. You had so much fun on our trip. I wasn't sure how you'd do with the drive since you haven't been in the car that much since we were down there almost a year ago but you did really well. You would get a little fussy when you'd drop your toys and books and couldn't reach them but mostly you just played in the backseat. We listened to Harry Potter during the drive and sometimes you'd get tired of it and say, "I'm sleeping! Harry Potter off!"
You were so excited to see Grandma and Grandpa and Josh and to find all kinds of things to play with at their house. They got you a light saber which you are so excited about! We had to curb your enthusiasm a little bit so you didn't hit everybody with it. I think we're going to have to buy another one to defend ourselves! Your other favorite things to do were play with all the balls in the house and take bubble baths in the big tub.
You're really into music lately. You love it when daddy plays his ringtones on his cell phone for you. You can name pretty much all of them from Star Wars to James Bond to Pink Panther. I've started singing the alphabet song to you when you wash your hands and now you won't wash your hands unless I sing it for you. You'll scrub your hands and then you'll pull them apart so I stop singing until you start washing your hands again.
You have become a lot more verbal lately too. You can tell us things you did throughout the day and can describe things for us. We went and got daddy a father's day present and when he got home you told him we went to Walmart and got a Wii present for him. He asked what it was and you told him Star Wars. I guess you're not very good at keeping secrets yet but it was pretty funny! Just about everything you do these days makes us laugh and we love it!
Love, Mommy
