Letter to Jarom: Month 66

Dear Jarom,

Today you turn 5 1/2! You are growing up so fast. I count on you for so many things because you are such a good helper. You are very good about cleaning your room and putting things away when I ask you to. You will hold Alex's hand when we're outside and I don't have any free hands because I'm carrying Megan. You love to feed Megan her bottles and have changed Alex's diapers and help him get his pajamas on!

You are doing great in school. You know all the alphabet sounds and are doing really well at sounding out words. You are getting really good at writing your letters and your numbers although sometimes you get some of your numbers backwards. I'm sure as you practice you'll resolve that issue. Every day after school you walk to our car with your friend, Nathan. You have lots of friends at school.

Your very favorite thing to do is play Super Mario Bros. on the Wii. You only get to play on the weekends when daddy is home but you talk about it all week anyways. You like to play with your LEGOs too and for Valentine's Day you got a LEGO helicopter to go with your police station. You had a great Valentine's Day. You made valentine holders at school out of paper bears that you colored and the bottom of a milk jug. Very cute. You had justice league valentines to hand out to your class and you loved looking through all the valentines you got from your classmates.

You learned about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln for President's Day. You made a tricorn hat for George Washington and a little book about Abraham Lincoln in the shape of his top hat. Then you came home and told us all about these presidents. I'm glad you're paying attention! You are such a smart, sweet boy and we love having you in our family.

Love, Mommy
