Yesterday you turned 65 months! This month hasn't been overly exciting, as the holidays are over, but we've been getting into a sort of routine. In the mornings we usually go to the church with the Bradys where you kids play while the moms walk the perimeter of the chapel, or we go to grandma's house! After that we go to the library or read books and then it's lunchtime. Next you go to school and when you get home we have a snack and do homework. After that you play with Alex and watch tv while I make dinner. When dinner's over it's time for a bath, reading Harry Potter, and bed. That's a pretty typical day for you.
You are doing really well in school. You are reading more and more by yourself every day. You have lots of friends at school but for a few weeks we were dealing with a bully. Some older kid started messing with you at recess so I told you to tell him to leave you alone. If that didn't work you were supposed to tell a teacher. After a few days of telling the teacher and this kid sitting out recess he finally got the hint and became your friend! I hope that's the last time you ever have to deal with a bully.
You love when daddy's home from work on the weekends. I think mostly because he lets you play Wii! You are totally obsessed with Super Mario Bros. lately. You tell everybody about it and are constantly asking to play. Daddy lets you play it and plays it with you more than I do.
This month you lost your third tooth and went to the dentist for your first crown and filling! We weren't sure how you would do so the dentist gave you an oral sedative first. We sat in a room and watched Cars 2 while we waited for the sedative to take effect. At one point, one of the cars was getting smashed up. You said, "that car is going to die and go to live with Cars Jesus." I told you there wasn't a car Jesus and you said, "not even on Cars?" I knew the sedative was starting to take effect! Then when the dentist got you in the chair you didn't even notice him numbing you up. You said, "this is great! I love this! I'm going to eat more candy so I can do this again!" The dentist thought you were hilarious! When you were done you had a new silver crown and you were so excited to show it off.
You are so smart and such a big help. We love you so much.
Love, Mommy
