We weren't sure how Jarom was going to do around Matt after he had his surgery. He loves to climb on his dad and play. But he's actually been pretty good. At first he didn't understand why he couldn't just run up and give his daddy a big hug but he was good about keeping his distance for the first few days. Then he started going around and telling everybody, "Daddy hurt." I think he's starting to understand what that means. Now he just wants to be like his daddy. Matt pretty much stayed in bed the first week after surgery but whenever he'd get up to do exercises or move around Jarom would jump into his spot on the bed!
When Jarom saw Matt's bandaids from the incisions he insisted on having a bandaid of his own. Now he goes around pointing to his bandaid and saying, "Daddy!"
And he loves to sit beside Matt - on his good side - and watch tv or read books.
Jarom sure loves his Daddy!
