Happy Birthday Matt!!

Yesterday was Matt's 27th birthday! Since it was Sunday and we had church we kind of had a whole birthday weekend. Friday night we went to dinner at Bonsai. If you haven't been there you should. It's delicious! It's a Japanese steakhouse where they cook all your food in front of you. Jarom was a little freaked out when they lit the cooking surface on fire but otherwise it was a pretty good show.

Saturday Matt and I went to see Quantum of Solace. I know, I know, Twilight came out this weekend but seeing as it was Matt's birthday and not mine, and also the thing that will totally ruin that movie for me is a bunch of screaming girls, we opted for James Bond this weekend. And it was good. I need to see it again because some parts were a little confusing and I'm not sure I liked it as well as Casino Royale but it was still good. Very action-packed. I gave Matt one of his presents early - a new golf club - and let him go golfing Saturday afternoon. It was probably the last nice, fairly warm day for it until spring so I'm glad he got to go one last time this year.

Saturday night and Sunday afternoon we had stake conference. Mom, Dad and I sang in the choir. The choir numbers were beautiful and it was fun to have a chance to sing since now I'm the one directing the choir. After church we had Kim, Tom, Tanner & Spencer, Rachel, Jonnie, Lindzie & Bailey, and Josh over for dinner. It was a lot of fun. Milt and Nora we definitely missed you! Dinner was delicious and Matt got some nice presents. Jarom had a good time playing with his cousins. So much so that none of them wanted to eat dinner. We really enjoy spending time with all our family and loved having Matt's birthday as an excuse!

Happy Birthday Honey! Love ya.
