Today you turned 22 months. You have been so much fun this month - doing all kinds of crazy things. First of all you climb on everything. You can climb into your highchair now, all by yourself. It was a little bit scary at first - seeing you just climb right up in there but you love doing it. If I even hint that it's going to be time to eat soon you're up in your highchair, putting your bib on! You can climb on the bed now too. I don't know why but you love to play on our bed. The other day I went in and you were laying on the bed in the middle of a pile of laundry I had yet to fold. It was pretty funny.
You like to watch some of the shows we watch on TV. Mostly American Gladiator and Wipeout. The other day a lady was doing push ups on Gladiator and you got down on the floor and tried to do it too. Matt and I looked at each other like, "is he doing what I think he's doing?"
You have become so helpful this month. You love to put your toys away when it's nap time or bed time. You love to put your clothes in the hamper and your diapers in the garbage. You even help bring me the laundry to put in the washing machine. It's so nice that you're starting to do a few things for yourself.
You have become more affectionate too. You give hugs and kisses and you hate when somebody is upset. Sometimes you'll hear a baby cry or something upset and you start to cry too. You like to go give hugs and try to make that person feel better. It's so cute to watch.
And you've started liking babies and paying attention to them. My friend Emily brought her daughter Sophy over today and you were so attentive. You showed her your toys and kept touching her little hands and belly and head. You were very gentle and even gave her a hug and kiss. And Travis and Jenni's daughter, Kaitlyn, you were giving her her toys and trying to make her laugh. It's the first time you've paid much attention to them before.
You still love golf. Whenever Daddy's watching it on tv you go get your club and ball so you can play too. You look at different clubs online with Matt and the other day we were at Grandma and Grandpa's house and you just sprawled on the floor looking at the newspaper ads that were selling golf clubs! Last night Daddy looked over at his golf bag and one of your clubs was sitting in the bag with all his clubs! We didn't put it there so it had to be you! I can't wait for all the funny things you'll do next month!
Love, Mommy
