Today you are 5 months old! You are getting so big. You're not moving around much yet, rolling over and such, but you kick your legs like crazy and like to grab things with your hands. You are such a happy little girl and are generally content wherever you are. You've started laughing a little bit and love to smile and talk A LOT!
You celebrated your first Christmas! It probably wasn't all that exciting for you, aside from all the attention you got. You got a bunch of stuffed animals and clothes. We dressed you up in cute Christmas clothes, even a reindeer suit. And you got to play baby Jesus for our Nativity with the cousins.
You didn't really get into opening presents but you sure got a lot of stuff! And you love all the stuffed animals and teething toys you got. It's so fun to see you play with them.
We put you in the exersaucer for the first time and you really like it! You like to sit upright so you're content to sit upright in that. You also got to meet your Great-uncle Jeff at Christmastime. You really liked him too.
You love your brothers and they are constantly making you smile. They've started calling you "Meggy Moo" or "Baby Bacon" but you don't seem to mind. You just love to watch them and you love all the attention they give you. You thought they were pretty crazy during our New Years' celebration - running around and screaming and such. But you got into the festivities a little bit!
You tried some new foods this month: rice cereal and carrots. You like both but it's been a challenged keeping any of it in your mouth. Your tongue just wants to push everything out but if I hold the spoon slightly in your mouth you kind of suck it off. You are pretty messy when you eat so sometimes you need a bath afterward.
You are such a sweet little girl and we love having you in our family.

She is a doll. Getting huge. I can't believe how much they grow in such a short time. Funny little lady bug pillow pet, Lilly has the same one :D
